HEALTH BENEFITS
Avocado and spinach are on the top 12 therapeutic foods that heal the mitochondria. Avocados are full of healthy fats, fiber, vitamin E, Glutathione and so much more. Spinach and all dark leafy greens are high in antioxidants, carotenoids and flavonoids that provide anti-inflammatory and antioxidant protections. If we can leave you with anything just remember this, FOOD IS MEDICINE!

B.L.A.T. sandwich without the carbs

I fall in the camp of loving salad but realize it’s not everyone’s go-to dinner. When trying to convince your family to give greens a try this combo just might have them excited to finish a big bowl.

It’s bacon, lettuce, avocado, tomato sandwich without the bun. The flavor combo mixed with a creamy dressing really does offer those same satisfying flavors.

Make our creamy Avocado Lime Dressing with a mayo and avocado oil combination with a touch of lime and cilantro. Primal Kitchen also has some great avocado oil dressings that are paleo and Whole30 friendly.

Sooooo tasty and satisfying.

THE BEST BACON

When shopping for bacon try finding something without nitrates and sugar! It can be tough but there is bacon out there that doesn’t include those “not so good for you” ingredients.

Do you have an airfryer…or do you want an airfryer? I absolutely love mine! Try cooking your bacon in there. I cook my bacon at 350 for 10-15 minutes depending on how many slices I have in there. Cooking bacon slow leaves you with less chewy bites of fat.

It's tomato season!! A.K.A. salsa season, margarita pizza season, BLT season! There are so many good reasons to love tomatoes like it's cancer fighting properties. Tomatoes contain a large amount of lycopene, an antioxidant that is highly effective in fighting cancer-causing free radicals. And this time of year they are a simple staple for so many loved recipes.

One favorite combo is on BLTs. For a healthier low-carb, grain-free alternative try making a BLAT salad
> Bacon
> Lettuce
> Avocado
> Tomato

Add our homemade Avocado Lime mayo based dressing to top off the theme. Or try one of Primal Kitchen many paleo approved dressings using quality oils and ingredients.
