HEALTH BENEFITS
This nut and cinnamon filled granola is just what the doctor ordered to lower our blood sugar levels. In one study, volunteers who ate from 1 to 6 grams of cinnamon for 40 days lowered their blood sugar levels by 24 percent! Almonds are one of the top therapeutic foods to heal our mitochondria, which are the power house of our cells that give us all the energy we need to be the best that we can be!
GRAIN-FREE GRANOLA FOR THE WIN!
Monday meal prep inspo! Whip up some grain-free granola this week for a keto-friendly and kid-friendly breakfast with your favorite yogurt, topped on fruit, or as a snack. Then store leftovers in an airtight container for the week. Enjoy!
ARE YOU PALEO - NO PROBLEM! WE GOT YOU COVERED!
In this keto granola recipe all you need to do to make it paleo vs keto is swap out two ingredients. Exchange the Swerve Brown to coconut sugar and the Choc Zero Maple syrup to a real maple syrup or you could use a local honey. That’s it!
MAKE IT YOUR OWN
Preheat oven to 300°F and grease a half sheet baking pan, set aside. In an electric food processor (a hand processor works too) chop the almonds and pecans until they resemble coarse crumbs.
Pour these nuts in a medium sized mixing bowl. Add in the almond flour, sunflower seeds, pepitas (also known as pumpkin seeds) and dried apples or any other dried fruit or nuts. Keep in mind that the more dried fruit you have the more your carb and sugar count goes up.
In a small saucepan, melt the almond butter, Swerve Brown and coconut oil together. Mix in Choc Zero Maple Pecan syrup and cinnamon. Pour melted almond butter mixture over nut mixture and stir well, tossing lightly. The granola will be slightly clumpy but will break apart as it bakes.
Spread mixture evenly on 1/2 sheet pan and bake 30 minutes, stirring halfway through. Remove and let cool completely. Store in an airtight container in the fridge or freezer for best results.
Serve this on top of our Russian Cream or on your favorite yogurt.

PARFAIT IT YOUR WAY
We love this granola with a coconut yogurt for a dairy-free option like the unsweetened So Delicious brand, or the Two Good yogurt if dairy is your thing. And for a sweet treat try it with our homemade Russian Cream recipe as a parfait.
